Welcome

Welcome to Fry Networks documentation. Discover how to participate in DePIN infrastructure, earn rewards, and govern the protocol.

What is Fry Networks

Fry Networks is a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) built on Algorand, with expansion onto the Voi network. Instead of one company running data centers, thousands of independent operators contribute computing resources — bandwidth, storage, processing power, and data collection — from their own devices at the network edge, and earn token rewards for doing so.

The network has grown to 19,000+ registered devices spanning more than 23 miner types. Following governance proposal FIP-016, all legacy miner types were consolidated into a single unified client: the Fry Edge Miner (FEM) — one desktop app, one device registration, five partner integrations you can toggle on or off.

The 60-second version
  1. Run a device. Install FEM on a Windows machine, register it, and it starts contributing resources through partner integrations.
  2. Earn rewards. Devices prove uptime via Proof of Connectivity health checks. Reward epochs conclude every Friday — "FRYday" — and you claim earnings from the dashboard.
  3. Use the ecosystem. Stake, farm liquidity, and swap on fry.farm; trade Genesis NFTs on fry.market; vote on protocol changes at vote.frynetworks.com.
