# Ecowitt WITTSWITCH AC1100

## **Setting Up the Ecowitt GW1200 Gateway**&#x20;

Follow these steps to set up your **Ecowitt GW1200 Gateway** and connect it to your account.

#### **Step 1: Install the Ecowitt App**

* Download the **Ecowitt** app from the **App Store (iOS)** or **Google Play Store (Android)**.

#### **Step 2: Register and Log In**

* Open the app and create an account if you don’t already have one.
* Log in to your account.

***

#### **Step 3: Enable Location and WiFi**

* Make sure the app has **precise location services** enabled.
* Ensure WiFi service is active on your phone.

#### **Step 4: Disable Cellular Data**

* Temporarily disable your phone’s **cellular data service** until all setup steps are complete.

***

#### **Step 5: Add a New Weather Station**

* In the app, tap **Menu** → **Weather Station** → **+ Add a New Weather Station**.
* Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the hub setup and add it to your account.

> You can add multiple gateways under a single account.

## **Pairing the Ecowitt AC1100 with the GW1200 Gateway**

Follow these steps to pair the **AC1100 Smart Plug** with your **GW1200 Gateway**:

1. **Power On the AC1100**:
   * Plug the **AC1100** into a power outlet.
   * Press and hold the button on the AC1100 for more than **5 seconds**. The blue light will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.

#### **Step 1: Open the Ecowitt App**

* Open the **Ecowitt** app on your phone.

#### **Step 2: Access the Gateway Dashboard**

* Enter the **GW1200 Dashboard** in the app.
* Tap the **'...'** icon in the top-right corner.

#### **Step 3: Add the AC1100**

* Select **+ Subdevice** and choose the icon for the **AC1100**.

***

#### **Step 4: Confirm Pairing**

* Tap **Device is in Pairing Mode** and wait for the pairing success notification.

***

#### **Step 5: Complete Pairing**

* Once pairing is successful, the app will automatically navigate to the **AC1100 interface**.

## **Linking and Registering Your Energy Gateway with Fry Networks**

1. **Link Your Device**:
   * Connect your **Ecowitt AC1100** to the Fry Networks energy portal: [**https://energy.frynetworks.com/**](https://energy.frynetworks.com/).
2. **Register Your Gateway**:
   * After setup is complete, register your gateway on the [**Fry Networks Dashboard**](https://dashboard.frynetworks.com/) to activate network participation.
