1. During the installation, you’ll see a confirmation prompt asking, **"Do you want to install the Fry P2P Client?"**
2. Click **Yes** to install the Fry P2P Client.\
   **Important**: This step is mandatory as the client is required for the software to function properly.
3. Proceed with the installation as prompted.&#x20;

1. The **Fry P2P Client Setup Wizard** will open.
2. This setup will allow you to configure or install the Fry P2P Client on your computer.

3. If you want to use the default location, click **Next** to proceed.
4. To choose a different folder, click **Browse**, select your desired folder, and click **Next**.

4. If you need to make changes, click **Back**, or click **Cancel** to exit the wizard.

1. Launch the **Fry P2P Client** application after installation.
2. On the **Log In** screen:
   * If you already have an account, enter your **email address** and **password**, then click **Log In**.
   * **Important**: Wallet-based logins (**Defly**, **Pera**, and **WalletConnect**) are not supported yet. You must create an account using your email address.
3. If you don’t have an account, click **Create Account** and follow the instructions to set up your account with your email address.
4. After creating your account, return to the **Log In** screen and log in using your credentials.

   2. Under **Select Storage Path**, click **Select Path** to choose the folder where your storage data will be saved.

      * Ensure you select a location with sufficient storage space.

   4. Create a new folder where the Fry P2P Client will store its files:
      * Right-click inside the **Documents** folder.
      * Select **New > Folder** and name the folder (e.g., “Storage Path”).
   5. You can create this new folder directly inside an existing folder, like the Fry Storage Decentralization Node folder, if preferred.  &#x20;

   1. Once logged in, you’ll see the Fry P2P Client dashboard.
   2. To start your storage node, click the **power button** in the center of the screen.
   3. The status will change from **Disconnected** to **Connected**, indicating that your node is active.
   4. Verify that the server storage path matches the folder you selected during setup.

   2. The dashboard will show:
      * **Server Running Time**: How long the server has been active.
      * **Storage Size Revealed**: Currently shown as 0 Bytes until storage tasks are added.
      * **Server Storage Path**: The folder you selected during setup.
   3. Confirm that everything is functioning as expected. Your node is now active and ready to contribute to the network.&#x20;

   2. The interface will switch to a dark theme for better visibility in low-light environments.
