PoC 4 All

Device Registration & Action Required

Overview

All Fry Network devices must now be linked directly through the Fry Dashboard to remain active and fully integrated. Device linking is managed via the new ⚙️ Settings icon located next to each registered device on your dashboard.

This updated approach replaces the earlier multi-portal registration system.

⚠️ Required Action: If you currently operate Mini PC Devices (Bandwidth, Satellite, Decibel, or Infrastructure), you must:

  1. Uninstall the existing software.

  2. Download and install the newest version from the official Fry Networks website.

  3. Register and link your devices through the Fry Dashboard.

Device Linking Requirements

Each type of Fry Network device requires specific details for proper linking:

Mini PC Devices

  • Bandwidth / Satellite / Decibel / Infrastructure Nodes (Including Storage Decentralization and Validation Nodes)

    • MAC Address Required

How to Find the Correct MAC Address (Windows)

  1. Press Win + R, type cmd, and press Enter.

  2. In the Command Prompt, enter:

ipconfig /all
  1. Locate your active network adapter (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) and note the Physical Address (format: XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX).

Verifying the Correct MAC Address

  • Use the MAC address from the network adapter actively connected to the internet.

  • If multiple adapters appear, disable or disconnect unused adapters to avoid confusion.

  • Verify the correct MAC address by matching it to your device’s active connection listed in your router’s device connections.

Cameras

  • RTSP-compatible camerasRTSP URL required

Energy Devices

Radiation Sensors

  • GMC Map API → Geiger Counter ID required

Weather Stations

  • Ambient → API Key

  • Ecowitt / Froggit / MISOL → API Key + APP Key

  • WXM (WeatherXM) → Email + Password credentials

Air Quality Sensors

For indoor/outdoor air quality sensors:

  • Ambient / Ecowitt / Airthings → API Key (plus App Key for Ecowitt)

  • Pebble (IoTeX) → IMEI + IoTeX Wallet Address (same as MachineFi portal)

  • PurpleAir → Sensor ID + Read Key

  • Awair / Kaiterra / Atmotube → Device ID + Token

Proof of Connectivity (POC) Account

  • Upon registering your first device, a Proof of Connectivity (POC) account is automatically generated in the Fry Dashboard.

  • This POC account is shared by all your registered devices.

  • Maintain a minimum balance of 10 ALGO in this account to ensure uninterrupted network transaction coverage (transaction fees).

  • Note: This account is separate from your primary account used for accessing the Fry Dashboard.

Monitoring Your POC Account

  • You can copy your POC account address from the Fry Dashboard and add it to wallet apps such as Pera or Defly as a watch-only account.

  • You can monitor your account activity via Pera Explorer.

  • Each device sends hourly Proof of Connectivity (POC) messages, visible as zero-value transactions (0.00 FRY) once per hour. For example, 5 devices result in 5 hourly transactions.
